Jessie is a beautiful older cow who has been with us at animal place for 15 years. Jessie saved her own life when she jumped out of a truck (speeding along the highway) on her way to slaughter. The driver of the truck gave her to some kind folks who saw the incident. They brought her to Animal Place where she has had an active life of grazing, hanging out with the other animal residents, and being free.
